AHPRA Approved Supervisor Rachel Lilley is a Registered Psychologist with over 15 years experience, graduating from the University of Waikato, New Zealand in 2004 and completing her Provisional Registration in Townsville, Australia. Rachel has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families, providing assessment and intervention across a wide range of presenting issues and stressors. Presenting difficulties can include (but are not limited to) anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, behavioural concerns, emotion dysregulation, grief and loss difficulties, trauma and family and parenting challenges. Rachel has particular interest in working with young children, using play-based therapeutic interventions to promote engagement, processing and change. Her range of evidence-based therapies include:
Rachel also completes psychometric assessments and reports with all age groups, including assessments for Intellectual Disability, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Mental Health Diagnoses. Rachel additionally has special interest in behavioural psychology, and has worked within the NDIS system for the past 5 years. In this role, she supports participants through both individual therapy and works with participants and their networks to develop Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs) to enrich quality of life and ensure support needs are met whilst working to reduce behaviours of harm and concern.
